Believe it or not my life is not only surrounded with makeup, shoes and clothes! lol I really love and enjoy my home with my kids=dogs, being around my family and most of all I love to look at my home and see and recognize myself in the decorations, the smell of a hand soap, the way we display the magnets on our refrigerator, etc.
We just bought a few wall clocks for our living room that I am completely in love with. I love the originality of these clocks. They are made by designer Pavel Sidorenko. He is an young and creative Estonian designer whose “… aim is to create functional and playful products that retains its simplicity, interacting with the space and user. To create not only incorporating pragmatic necessity, but also transmit an emotional quality within the everyday environment.”
He recycles old vinyl records adding the clock mechanism. From animals, to cityscapes, skylines to weapons and furniture there are enough options to suit even the most specific themed room. The designer uses vinyl records which makes a creative and super useful way to make the old new again. The records have a variety of labels ranging from English to a variety of foreign languages all with different colorful backgrounds.
What I love the most are the details on the vinyl expressing what is the most iconic places or thing from every country. I found these clocks on BOUF. It is a very interesting website.
It was so hard to choose from his collection, so we picked Paris, London, Amsterdam, San Francisco, London and RIO (of course!).
For sure now I can say it is 5’o clock somewhere else and I am ready to start my happy hour!
Beijos e Tchau!
