On Sunday, Pomegranate Bistro hosted a Tuna Canning Workshop by Slow Food Seattle with the awesome and very knowledgeable fisherman Jeremy Brown and his team. It was an amazing event where all the participants had a hands on chance to learn how to clean a tuna and try a piece of the tuna already canned. I think it’s so awesome to learn how to make your own canned tuna, having control of the quality and process. I believe so much that the future of food is slow cook, homemade, less processed and knowing every ingredient of the food I ingest every day. This event happens once a year and I hope that Pomegranate can host it again next year!!! Here are some of the photos from the workshop!
