Last week when I got home after my double shift it was already late. When I opened the door even though it was dark in my dining room these colorful roses on the table. I got closer and saw a card… while I was reading I felt all my tiredness disappearing and a smile growing and growing on my face. Flowers and a Card wishing me a great weekend!! How lucky I am to have Ms. American in my life!!!
Our days off was super productive! And I decided to make a brazilian dinner for Marilyn. Always cooking in our house has involved drinks, music, dance… it’s always so much fun!! When I am cooking there’s no rush… I like to take my time, stoping to play with the dogs, to talk, to make a new drink or to sing loud “you’re so vain…You’re so vain, You probably think this song is about you,You’re so vain, I’ll bet you think this song is about you. Don’t you? Don’t you?” by Carly Simon. You can have a little taste here.
While I was cooking we were talking about Brazilian food and drinks in general and we finished this topic talking about the last Brazilian drink that I made for her: Batida de Coco (shake of coconut). She loved it! It’s very simple to make it: cachaça, condensed milk, ice, coconut milk and grated coconut. Blend everything and sprinkle coconut on top. You can serve it in a martini glass or use the coconut.
I have been wearing my lipsticks and blush by Rihanna (RiRi Hearts MAC Summer collection) that took me 3 hours to buy online. When she launched the first collection I couldn’t buy it because it was sold out in a couple hours. The colors are beautiful! Definitely, my lipsticks for this Summer!
In that same week we went to buy a new foundation for Marilyn and I saw a beautiful bold colorful orange lipstick that I immediately fell in love with. Sushi Kiss is this peach-orange with a satin finish lipstick that I didn’t want to buy at that moment… We left the store and came back half an hour later and it was sold out. I freaked out! I went to a different store, it was also sold out. A couple of days later I went to another one and they told me that there was only one left in the whole country… but it was only online… of course…
To not pay shipping I bought this purple one named feel my pulse. These colorful “things” helped me smile a lot.
After my colorful makeup was done, it was time to choose the shoes to wear to go out and have a wine tasting. It’s all about bright colors this summer for me!
I wore my new high sandals by Michael Kors.
I am wearing all my open toe sandals while I can…
Beijos e Tchau!
