You know when you like a trend, but you are not sure if you really wanna try it. Especially if the trend is related to hair! This happened to me with the ombre hair style. When I first saw Jessica Biel with her ombre hair I fell in love. Remember it?
And our Riri (our favorite badgal) remember ? Rihanna’s stunning ombre are natural yet fabulous! Notice how the color gradually changes and emphasizing her eyes. The natural tone brown to caramel blonde. CTRL C + CTRL V!
After awhile I saw more celebrities having the same style and I started seeing it more in the streets on “normal” girls. But I wasn’t convinced … Many times I felt it was like “trashy” hair. You know when people dye their hair and let it grow out without retouching the dark roots? I felt like that for awhile! Besides that I felt EVERYONE was with the same ombre hair style… I was tired with seeing this ombre hair even though I never did it to my hair…until I saw Isabeli Fontana in Cannes last week! I was surprised because I thought ombre hair was over, but apparently not! Isabeli Fontana is the L’oreal Paris’ newest brand ambassador in Latin America. The Brazilian model showed off her new look: an ombre dye hair.
Her stunning good looks earned her the title of the newest face of L’Oreal Paris and she suddenly saw herself joining the team like Eva Longoria, Jennifer Lopez, and Jane Fonda. GO GIRL! GO BRAZIL!!
To complete this Brazilian package with Isabeli Fontana, L’Oréal Paris has also presented its first hair expert in Brazil: Marcos Proença. He will be the spokesperson for L’Oréal Paris coloring and hair treatment. He is the “It boy” in Brazil!
His hand has touched many celebrities hair like Naomi Campbell, Vanessa Hudgens, Claudia Schiffer and Camila Alves. By the way, at the last Cannes Festival in 2012, Camila Alves brought him to take care of her hair at all the red carpet events.
To finish this post about my new ombre obsession… I saw Khloé Kardashian Odom on the Today Show and her hair was stunning! I loveeeeedddddd it!! MAJOR HAIR!! I want it I want it I want it…
And you, what do you think about ombre hair? Still a cool trend?
Beijos e Tchau!
