I think we said here before that we love to watch 60 Minutes on Sundays. It is our favorite thing to do in the evening! This last Sunday they showed an interview with The New Yorker cartoon editor Bob Mankoff and the weekly process of picking the magazine’s famous cartoons. I love their cartoons, so it was so interesting to see the process and the faces of those talented, funny and sarcastic people that draw the cartoons. For those who are not familiar with this magazine, The New Yorker is an American magazine of reportage, criticism, fiction, satire, cartoons, and poetry. Started as a weekly in 1925, the magazine is now published 47 times annually and believe it or not only 10% of the one million subscribers live in or around New York. Here is the interview and here, here, here, here are my favorite cartoons.
