So, in 2011 I made a surprise for Marilyn giving her a photobook. I found old photos from her final work of culinary school graduation which she cooked for 20 guests including appetizers, main courses and desserts. For the next two weeks our blog is going to be in a totally French mood, especially the things related to food. I am a French food lover and Marilyn too. To prove how much Marilyn loves French food her final culinary work was to create a menu and cook the food for a dinner party. She did an amazing job! Look at this!!
I love what her professor wrote: “very nice but pretty ambitious!!! Can we do it?”
She DID IT!!
Marilyn not only DID IT… But she was the …
That’s why we decided to “revisit” Marilyn’s cookbook to start off our French journey . Bon Voyage!!
When I saw these photos I was so amazed with the details of her drawings. At that time all students had to draw the dishes, write down the costs of the food, etc, etc.
I am sorry about the quality of the photos because these photos were already old, so we couldn’t do very much about that.
I love the details of this drawing! How perfect are these mussels!
Pork Tenderloin with Apples!
Here is the final result!
The same with the Lamb!
Look at the prices! So funny!
One of the reasons we decided to go to Paris again is to learn new recipes and techniques, get inspiration to bring to our blog and share with you. Get ready for a lot of new ideas, recipes, drinks and experiences!
For the next couple of weeks instead of Beijos e Tchau.. it’s going to be
Bisous and Au Revoir!
