This holiday cranberry caipirinha is a festive, delicious and beautiful drink that everyone will enjoy at any gathering with friends and family.
It’s officially the Christmas season! Thanksgiving has been celebrated and Marilyn is allowing herself to listen to Christmas music for the next 25 days non-stop, decorate every space in the house with ornaments and watch Christmas movies too.
One of my favorite things about the holidays is holiday food and cocktails. So, I’m pretty excited for the first cocktail of the holiday season! We decided to make a Brazilian Flair in the USA drink with cranberries and created one of the best drinks….caipirinha. Now, most people think of caipirinha as a typical summer drink, but the addition of cranberry flavor gives a winter flair to this cocktail.
My favorite thing about this holiday cranberry caipirinha is the mix of the tart from the cranberries with the cachaça that is made from fresh sugarcane juice that is fermented and distilled. We used Novo Fogo cachaça that is one of our favorite brands. You can find at any liquor store. Caipirinha is my favorite Brazilian drink!! Cheers!
Remember the Candied Cranberries and Brussels Sprouts Petal Salad? We used the leftover cranberries and simple syrup to make this delicious drink.
