This week our routine has been very different but in a better way. Remember I told you about our friends from Paris were coming to stay with us for one week? Because of them, our routine has been changed. We are having a blast especially at dinner time when we have dinner together and talk until 2am.
Changing the subject…
We made this appetizer that could be a a dessert too.
It’s white grilled cheese wrapped with prosciutto (the same cheese we used when we made the banana appetizer, and grilled fig with a reduced cassis sauce.
It’s was delicious! This Summer we have been trying as much as we can to play around with grilled fruits.
Start grilling the cheese first because it takes more time than the wrapped fig.
After that, grill the fig wrapped with the prosciutto .
To make the cassis sauce just reduce the cassis over low heat until it turns into a syrup.
I love the sweetness and sour together!
