Corn on the cob is a huge summer hit. I learned a great way to grill corn when I worked at The Herbfarm restaurant with Chef Jerry Traunfeld. His mastery of herbs really excited me and this way of grilling corn was one of my favorites. You can use any kind of herb, but marjoram is definitely my favorite!
4 ears fresh corn
1/2 C. soft butter
10 sprigs ( or more to taste) marjoram
salt and pepper
String for tying the corn
Peel corn husk leaving it connected at bottom of the cob. Clean silk totally from the cob.
Rub corn cob with soft butter. Season with salt and pepper. Attach marjoram sprigs on all sides of cob and pull the husk back over the corn.
Tie with string to keep husk together.
Heat grill over medium heat. Grill corn, turning frequently, until kernels are soft. Remove husk and EAT!!!!
