BRAZILIAN FLAIR STEAK WITH ROASTED BABY POTATOES

Brazilian flair steak with roasted baby potatoes is a quick, easy and delicious dinner that can be done in less than 30 minutes. The highlight of this recipe is the seasoning made for this delicious Ribeye steak.

BRAZILIAN FLAIR STEAK WITH ROASTED BABY POTATOES

For my steak I love a delicious and different seasoning besides just salt and pepper that is usually what we do here at home and what is served in so many restaurants. We have been using this seasoning for everything from chicken to pork to salmon. It’s delicious and super easy to make.

Marilyn made this seasoning that is a mix of different spices, salts and pepper . We made baby roasted potatoes and served them with the Malagueta aioli that we made for the delicious extra crispy onion rings stuffed with cheese. I love baked/roasted potatoes with loads of cheese, bacon, sour cream or with some sauce to dip them in. We have more ideas for potatoes that are super easy recipes and delicious. We have the twice baked potatoes, rösti potatoes and the bacon cheesy potatoes that are amazing. Enjoy!

BRAZILIAN FLAIR STEAK WITH ROASTED BABY POTATOES
 
Ingredients
  • *Roasted Baby Potatoes"
  • 1 lbs baby colorful potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp extra light olive oil
  • 1½ tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1Tbsp dry oregano
  • Steak
  • 1 large steak of your choice, we used ribeye
  • 1 T. kosher salt
  • 1 T. fresh ground pepper
  • 1 T. freshly ground pink/himalayan/apricot salt
  • 1 T. brown sugar
  • 1 T. smoked paprika
  • 1 T. freshly ground coffee
  • 1 T. chili flakes
  • 1 T. granulated garlic
  • 1 T. onion powder
  • Olive oil
Instructions
  1. Place potatoes in a large pot half full with warm water.
  2. Bring potatoes to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Drain, cover to keep warm, and set aside.
  4. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  5. In a large bowl, toss together the potatoes, garlic, dry oregano, olive oil, salt, pepper and rosemary. Spread the potato mixture out evenly on a baking sheet.
  6. Roast until the potatoes are tender, crispy and browned, about 40 to 45 minutes.
  7. For the steak
  8. Rub steak on both side with olive oil.
  9. Combine all spices in a small bowl and generously season steak on both sides.
  10. Grill or sear to your preferred doneness.
  11. Serve with roasted baby potatoes

Ingredients
  • Batatas-bolinha assadas
  • ½Kg de batatas-bolinha coloridas
  • 2 colheres de sopa de óleo de oliva extra light
  • 1½ colher de chá de alecrim
  • 1 colher de chá de sal marinho
  • ½ colher de chá de pimenta do reino moída na hora
  • 2 dentes de alho, espremidos
  • 1 colher de sopa de orégano seco
  • Bife
  • 1 bife grande de sua escolha, usamos o bife ribeye
  • 1 colher de sopa de sal kosher
  • 1 colher de sopa de pimenta do reino moída na hora
  • 1 colher de sopa de sal rosa / himalaia / alperce moído na hora
  • 1 colher de sopa de açúcar mascavo
  • 1 colher de sopa de páprica defumada
  • 1 colher de sopa de café moído
  • 1 colher de sopa de flocos de pimenta
  • 1 colher de sopa de alho granulado
  • 1 colher de sopa de cebola em pó
  • Azeite

Instructions
  1. Coloque as batatas em uma panela grande cheia até a metade com água morna.
  2. Coloque as batatas para ferver e cozinhe por 5 minutos.
  3. Tire a água, cubra para manter aquecido, e reserve.
  4. Preaqueça o forno a 220°C.
  5. Em uma tigela grande, misture a batata, alho, orégano seco, azeite, sal, pimenta e alecrim. Espalhe a mistura de batata uniformemente em uma assadeira.
  6. Asse até que as batatas estejam macias, crocantes e douradas, cerca de 40 a 45 minutos.
  7. Para o bife
  8. Esfregue azeite no bife em ambos os lados.
  9. Misture todos os temperos em uma tigela pequena e tempere generosamente o bife em ambos os lados.
  10. Grelhe ou asse para o seu ponto de cozimento preferido.
  11. Sirva com as batatas-bolinha assadas.

    This steak looks divine. I think I’ve made steak (at home) less than 5 times throughout my life. However, with this seasoning that you’ve shared, I can’t help but want to go get myself some steak to try ’em out. Can’t wait.

Brazi Bites Jalapeño Popovers
Ingredients:

1 bag Brazi Bites, defrosted

4 ea. Jalapeños

2 oz. shredded mozzarella

1 oz. cream cheese

1 T. Green onions, diced

Directions:

Cut the ends off of the jalapeños and slice down the middle.

Clean out seeds and place flat side down onto a sheet pan.

Brush lightly with oil and broil in oven until skin blisters. 
Peel the skin off of the jalapeños and small dice.

In a medium bowl mix diced jalapeños, mozzarella, cream cheese and green onions until combined.

Place Brazi Bites onto an oiled sheet pan. With your finger, press down into the Brazi Bite to create a small indentation in the top.

Place 1/2 tsp. Of the jalapeño mix in the indentation.

Place in a 400F oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.

Serve warm.
