BRAZILIAN FLAIR NUTELLA FERRERO ROCHER CHEESECAKE

This no-bake Brazilian flair Nutella Ferrero Rocher cheesecake doesn’t even require an oven, so it is definitely a winner. This recipe is for Nutella lovers and chocolate lovers alike. This is very rich cheescake perfect to go along with a glass of Pinot Noir. We have never done Oreo crust before, so it was a very nice surprise to taste the crunchiness of the crust.We really liked the nice dark flavor of the crust! The hardest part of this dessert is wait for 24 hours to eat. Enjoy the little time it takes consuming this as it does to preparing this dish!! Enjoy it!

Did you read this interview with Alton Brown? If I am not wrong Mr. Brown made his fortune from the food media industry and from the”celebrities” that have been called foodies and made his show on the Food Network happen. By the way, I do dislike the word “foodie”. It’s so dismissive somehow.

BRAZILIAN FLAIR NUTELLA FERRERO ROCHER CHEESECAKE
 
Ingredients
  • CRUST
  • 20 Oreo cookies
  • ¼ cup butter at room temperature
  • ¼ cup hazelnuts
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons of Nutella
  • ½ cup confectioner sugar
  • ¼ cup icing sugar
  • FILLING
  • 500g of cream cheese at room temperature
  • 400g Nutella , room temperature
  • 12 units of Ferrero Rocher, coarsely chopped, plus some whole for coverage
  • GARNISH
  • 7 Ferrero Rocher
Instructions
  1. CRUST
  2. Place all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until the mixture resembles quicksand.
  3. Put more Nutella if you feel that the mixture is too dry .
  4. Press the mixture evenly over the bottom and up sides in a roasting pan with removable bottom 20 cm and set aside.
  5. FILLING
  6. Beat cream cheese and icing sugar until smooth.
  7. Add Nutella and Ferrero Rocher chopped and continue stirring until combined.
  8. Put this mixture in the oreo crust and chill overnight.
  9. Garnish with Ferrero Rocher on top.

Ingredients
  • CROSTA
  • 20 biscoitos Oreo
  • ¼ xícara de manteiga em temperatura ambiente
  • ¼ xícara de avelãs
  • 2 a 3 colheres de sopa de Nutella
  • RECHEIO
  • 500g de cream cheese em temperatura ambiente
  • 400g de Nutella, temperatura ambiente
  • 12 unidades de Ferrero Rocher, grosseiramente picados, além de mais alguns inteiros para a cobertura
  • 90g de açúcar de confeiteiro, peneirado

Instructions
  1. CROSTA
  2. Coloque todos os ingredientes em um processador de alimentos e pulse até que a mistura se assemelhe a areia.
  3. Coloque mais Nutella se você sentir que a mistura está muito seca.
  4. Pressione a mistura uniformemente sobre o fundo e levante os lados em uma assadeira com fundo removível de 20 cm e reserve.
  5. RECHEIO
  6. Bata o cream cheese e o açúcar de confeiteiro até ficar homogêneo.
  7. Adicione Nutella e Ferrero Rocher picado e continue mexendo até combinado.
  8. Coloque essa mistura sob a crosta de oreo e deixe esfriar durante a noite.

Brazi Bites Jalapeño Popovers
Ingredients:

1 bag Brazi Bites, defrosted

4 ea. Jalapeños

2 oz. shredded mozzarella

1 oz. cream cheese

1 T. Green onions, diced

Directions:

Cut the ends off of the jalapeños and slice down the middle.

Clean out seeds and place flat side down onto a sheet pan.

Brush lightly with oil and broil in oven until skin blisters. 
Peel the skin off of the jalapeños and small dice.

In a medium bowl mix diced jalapeños, mozzarella, cream cheese and green onions until combined.

Place Brazi Bites onto an oiled sheet pan. With your finger, press down into the Brazi Bite to create a small indentation in the top.

Place 1/2 tsp. Of the jalapeño mix in the indentation.

Place in a 400F oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.

Serve warm.
