BRAZILIAN FLAIR AVOCADO ICE CREAM

Brazilian flair avocado ice cream is made with only 3 ingredients, no ice cream maker needed and it’s super creamy, smooth and delicious.

BRAZILIAN FLAIR AVOCADO ICE CREAM

I’ve said before in a post about Brazilian avocado smoothie that avocados for me were “made” to eat as a dessert: avocados with sugar, smoothies, mousse, candy and ice cream. I never heard of savory avocado food until I had my first Mexican food less than 10 years ago. Isn’t that crazy?! Of course, I wasn’t a big fan of guacamole, it took me awhile to like it. Actually, it was after Marilyn made it for me and it became an obsession!! I just love guacamole!!

When I was a kid we used to make avocado ice cream all the time. We used ice tray molds to make it!! It was so much fun! We always had it in our fridge!! Give it a try and I guarantee you that you love this ice cream.

BRAZILIAN FLAIR AVOCADO ICE CREAM
 
Ingredients
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 2 cups mashed, ripe avocado
  • 2 tablespoons of lime juice
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in blender.
  2. Beat until it's creamy and smoothy .
  3. Then put in a container with a plastic film and cover with a lid for at least 4 hours.

    Ooo I love avocado smoothies!!! I haven’t made one myself that I liked yet though, so I’ll have to try it with the condensed milk!

    This looks so refreshing and easy! I have never tried avocado in a sweet recipe but I can definitely see while it would work!

      A lot of people haven’t had avocado in a sweet way but it’s so good, creamy and most of the recipes that I know are so easy to make.

    I am just the opposite. I’d never heard of using avocados as a dessert ingredient until I started blogging! And that was only about 4 years ago! This ice cream looks delicious… I’ll have to try it!

      Avocado as a dessert it’s not very common in US.. But once you try it, it’s impossible to not like.

      Esse sorvete Γ© uma delicia mesmo! VocΓͺ pode usar esses abacates maduros pra fazer uma torta de abacate que temos aqui no blog que Γ© uma delΓ­cia tambΓ©m!!

Brazi Bites JalapeΓ±o Popovers
Ingredients:

1 bag Brazi Bites, defrosted

4 ea. JalapeΓ±os

2 oz. shredded mozzarella

1 oz. cream cheese

1 T. Green onions, diced

Directions:

Cut the ends off of the jalapeΓ±os and slice down the middle.

Clean out seeds and place flat side down onto a sheet pan.

Brush lightly with oil and broil in oven until skin blisters. 
Peel the skin off of the jalapeΓ±os and small dice.

In a medium bowl mix diced jalapeΓ±os, mozzarella, cream cheese and green onions until combined.

Place Brazi Bites onto an oiled sheet pan. With your finger, press down into the Brazi Bite to create a small indentation in the top.

Place 1/2 tsp. Of the jalapeΓ±o mix in the indentation.

Place in a 400F oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.

Serve warm.
