BRAZI BITES CRANBERRY DIP

These Brazilian cheese breads by Brazi Bites are the perfect gluten free bread to be served with this holiday cranberry cheese dip. With a few ingredientes and less than one hour you will have an amazing appetizer on your table and we guarantee that everyone will love it.

I can’t believe Thanksgiving is right there around the corner! I think because of the craziness of the election, the holiday spirit hasn’t yet sunk in on me or on the people around me. However, holiday food has been present on the blog. We made the apple cream cheese with pecans dip, the gluten free sausage stuffing and now this delicious cranberry dip.

Ingredients
  • 2 c. Extra sharp white cheddar cheese, grated
  • 8 oz. Cream cheese (room temperature)
  • ¼ c. Cranberry sauce
  • ½ c. Fresh cranberries
  • 2 bags Brazi Bites
  • For the cranberry sauce:
  • 12 oz. Cranberries
  • 1 c. Plus 2 T. Granulated sugar
  • 3 T. Orange juice
  • 1 T. Lemon juice
  • ¼ c. Water
  • 1 T. Chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 T. Chopped fresh rosemary
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. For the cranberry sauce:
  3. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and cook for 15-25 minutes until cranberries burst and sauce is thickened.
  4. Set aside.
  5. For the dip:
  6. Mix together the cheddar cheese, cream cheese, cranberry sauce and fresh cranberries. Place into an oven safe dish and cook for 25-30 minutes until bubbly.
  7. Cook Brazi Bites per directions on the package.
  8. Serve with hot cranberry cheese dip.

Brazi Bites Jalapeño Popovers
Ingredients:

1 bag Brazi Bites, defrosted

4 ea. Jalapeños

2 oz. shredded mozzarella

1 oz. cream cheese

1 T. Green onions, diced

Directions:

Cut the ends off of the jalapeños and slice down the middle.

Clean out seeds and place flat side down onto a sheet pan.

Brush lightly with oil and broil in oven until skin blisters. 
Peel the skin off of the jalapeños and small dice.

In a medium bowl mix diced jalapeños, mozzarella, cream cheese and green onions until combined.

Place Brazi Bites onto an oiled sheet pan. With your finger, press down into the Brazi Bite to create a small indentation in the top.

Place 1/2 tsp. Of the jalapeño mix in the indentation.

Place in a 400F oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.

Serve warm.
